Our Homes

Registered Childrens Homes
Summary
Our registered children’s homes will have a capacity of one to four beds, catering to individuals aged up to 16 years old. We accept both planned and emergency referrals to ensure prompt assistance.
We collaborate closely with placement teams to ensure a seamless transition into our high-quality homes.
Our registered children’s homes will be specifically designed to be homely, comfortable and welcoming. We offer everything that you’d expect to find in a modern family home, balanced alongside relevant modifications, enabling us to provide the best care for individuals’ needs.
We prioritise the voices of children by involving them in decisions regarding their living spaces, house rules, and weekly menu choices. This empowerment allows them to feel more at home and fosters positive engagement with our staff.

Supported Accommodation Homes
We will offer 24 hour 7 days a week support to the young children (aged between 16-18 years) in our homes, across popular towns in Birmingham, Leicester and the Midlands.
Our supported accommodation homes are more than just somewhere to live. They bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood so that a young person is prepared for the challenges of living independently.
Summary
Living in an Abbey Residential supported accommodation home before leaving care can be hugely beneficial. We provide safe, comfortable homes for care leavers, homeless teenagers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, where they can learn the essential life skills they will need when they transition to independent living.
The type of accommodation we offer varies depending on the young person. However, no matter which one of our supported housing services they live in, staff will always support young children to work towards their goals and build their confidence for the future.
